"New" salsa congresses/festivals established in 2006 are listed here to keep an accounting of these events. Have I missed any? Someone said there are over 120 Congresses per year. The very first, and the one that started it all, "World Salsa Congress" took place in 1997, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Angel Ortiz was one of the instructors. Can you name the other salsa instructors who taught at the first "World Salsa Congress"?
