Coco Jacoel

about Coco Jacoel: This french/italian/swedish former "chef de cuisine" who practiced martial art for many years nowadays runs an advertising agency. However, her greatest passion in life is dancing... Coco speaks Swedish, English, French and some Spanish.

dj'ing: She runs the club STHLM:MAMBO where she plays the music she loves: hardcore mambo, latin jazz, cha cha and bachata. She makes sure to keep the international flavour on the dance floor by inviting dancers from all over the world to join the party.

dancing: Coco is a member of the Mambosisters (www.mambosisters.com) and is currently based in Paris & Stockholm. She has also performed on stage as a member of the dance & show group "Stockholm Salseros". (www.stockholmsalseros.com). She competed in the Swedish Mastership 2004 and came in third place. She works as a dance teacher on a regular basis; in Sweden at La Isla with “Stockholm Salsa Dance”and in Paris at Le Mandunga and La Pachanga with Alain (Alf). She also teaches private lessons.

Salsa music and dance is recognized World-Wide. Coco continues her expansion into the international scene by teaching at various Salsa Congresses. For example, she has already taught with International Guest Instructor Angel Ortiz (www.angelortiz.com), and will continue to collaborate with local and international instructors. Gaining continued experience and working with world-class instructors will fuel her passion for dancing and make her dance dreams come true.
